And this year I have read all 3 hunger games books and I'm currently reading Modelland (do not recommend. it's by Tyra Banks. she should not be writing novels.) and I have Sarah Dessen's new book and The Help already queued up. How many books have people already read? I need to catch up!!

okay so, I'm up to 3 or 4, I suppose. I have a lot of reading to do!!

I've only read twelve books this year, which feels weird because it FEELS like I've read more. I've only read TFIOS more than once (obviously doesn't count) so I should have read more by now.

It's kind of sad when you think about it. I'll be the worlds slowest reading librarian out there. I love to read, I'm just super slow.

Wow I feel so late to the party with this especially it being almost the half way point in the year and all that! I've read quite a lot this year - not quite sure how many as I've not actually counted - probably at least 20 - more if you count Manga and comic books.

I've just read Paper Towns which was wonderful and have invested in Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines as future reads. In addition I have just finished Kresley Cole's Wicked Deeds on A Winter's Night which was paranormal romantic fluff which I found very enjoyable. Next I'm going to go for The Fault in Our Stars and Jane Eyre possibly in tandem.

I'll keep an eye on all your progress and report on mine every so often.

I started really slowly and its May now so I really have to get going (goodbye summer free-time) ANy way I've already read The Acorn People (meh), The Outsiders (Oh my gosh so amazing), TFIOS (Beautiful), An Abundance of Katherines (HILARIOUS), Paper Towns (my new favourite), Looking For Alaska (Makes you feel ALL THE THINGS), and Dead Beautiful (Such a nice teenage mystical romance). I'm really looking forward to reading (in no particular order)

• The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (I loved Tom Sawyer so I had to read this)
• Pride and Predjudice
• Empress of the World
• The Sookie Stackhouse Series (If my mom lets me)
• The Perks of Being a Wallflower

• The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight

71. Until I Die by Amy Plum - Interesting paranormal YA book set in Paris.

72. Vixen by Jillian Larkin - A book about flappers in the 20s in Chicago!

73. Insurgent by Veronica Roth - Wow.

74. Adorkable by Sarra Manning - One of my favourite authors.

75. Seeking Crystal by Joss Stirling - New book about the Benedict brothers, not out until the fall.

76. Chain Reaction by Simone Elkeles - Last book about the Fuentes brothers

77. Rosebush by Michele Jaffe - Interesting psychological thriller.

78. Ashes by Ilsa J Bick - YA book about zombies. Perfect.

79. Ultraviolet by RJ Anderson - Not at all what I was expecting. In a very good way.

80. Dads Geeks and Blue Haired Freaks by Ellie Phillips - Fun YA by British author

81. How to Keep a Boy as a Pet by Diane Messidoro - LOVED this one.

82. Ghost Flower by Michele Jaffe - another good one from Jaffe.

83. Dead Time by Anne Cassidy - First book in a new crime series

84. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodgkin - I fell in love and want more!

85. Insatiable by Meg Cabot - Meg's first book in an adult vampire series

86. Not that Kind of Girl by Siobhan Vivian - Good message but fell sort of flat for me.

87. Shift by EM Bailey - weird, but good.

88. Losing Faith by Denise Jaden - I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I ended up with...

89. Desert Angel by Charlie Price - I really liked it, but can't really say why

40 - perelandra by CS Lewis (the only book on this list that i didn't enjoy. it got way too explicitly religious and moral at the end, and the first was nothing like that so it kind of annoyed me. like it snuck up on me or something.)
