I need to read the hitch hikers guide!! but the others i have read

Christopher Moore writes ridiculously funny books. One of my favorites is called "Lamb." Also, Gregory McGuire books are wonderful. He wrote Wicked (which, if you ask me, is a better book than play).

I also love classics such as: To Kill a Mockingbird, I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, Jane Eyre, etc.

And of course, I love the Bard. And reading plays like Death of a Salesman, Arsenic and Old Lace, Crimes of the Heart, etc.

Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451

Inkheart

Eragon

Harry Potter

Lord of the Rings

Narnia

A Series of Unfortunate Events

I'm so happy that someone has finally acknowledged the genius that is Tamora Pierce! Of course, you left out two other AMAZING Tortall series by her. Protector of the Small and Trickster's Choice. Both are fantastic and I would reccomend them a hundred times over :)

also

A Great and Terrible Beauty by Liba Bray (trilogy)

inheritance series...and Percy Jackson...

The House of the Scorpion

Coraline

Harry Potter

Dragon Keeper

A Series of Unfortunate Events

Dune by Frank Herbert.

Ahh! See! You and I, we're on the same page!
I agree! I adore that book <3

THAT is a scifi book that transcends the genre.
