Gamer Nerdfighters Unite!!

So, through browsing some profiles, I have realised there are many gamer nerds out there! So I would like to hear what your favourite game of all time is! Or what you feel is the most overrated game of all time.

So I'll start! My favourite game of all time, and I believe, a contender for best game created, is Chrono Trigger!
That game is friggin aaaamazing...a masterpiece of an RPG, and a standard by which RPG's are created today. It may be old, but it never feels that way! It has everything you could want. Good music, excellent characters, time travel, multiple endings, and replayability.

Permalink Reply by Jordana on March 1, 2008 at 1:14am: It was good, certainly has its merits, but Chrono Trigger was better in my opinion. I mean, i'm all about gameplay and storylines and characters, and frankly, Chrono Trigger was just complete in all aspects. I don't think it could be trumped.

Permalink Reply by Lin on February 29, 2008 at 8:51pm: CT is definitely a great game, but Chrono Cross is even better. I even got to play Radical Dreamers (it's sort of the sequel to CT/prequel to CC, but it was never released in the US), which actually made me love Chrono Cross even more.

Permalink Reply by Lin on February 29, 2008 at 8:54pm: I don't HATE Street Fighter (or, any of its sequels). I just had a really jerky, competitive older brother who made me hate playing it. I LOVE watching people play it, though, as well as other fighting games.

I try not to be jerky about it, but I don't think I can help it all the time. Anyway... my brother's let me play once when I was around four, thinking that if they beat me that I would just shut up about it. Turns out... I was pretty good at Street Fighter (Or, better than they were... I suppose.) and I ended up winning. I was hooked from that point on.
