I too would pick:
A laptop with endless battery and internet connection.
All of the books in the world (or just all of the books that I would ever read, which is quite a few. Aw heck, just throw them all in).
My iPod (with all the necessary wires for charging and updating.)
Endless supply of food
And my best friend Alicia.

For a second there I was thinking about ditching Alicia for all the movies in the world, but I remembered that books are better than movies anyways, and that I'd need someone to discuss all the books with. haha!

Do I know I am going to be on this island and have time to prepare? Because if so I would learn how to fly a helicopter. So assuming I know how to fly a helicopter I would take...

An iPod full with music of my choice.
Batteries to the iPod.
A useable phone of some kind, so I can call for someone to come and get me.
Some kind of landmark, like a baloon to send up in the air.
A spair landmark, in case the first one breaks down or something.

I'd call for help, send up the landmark, then sit down and listen to music til they pick me up.

The alternative is a gun so I can commit suicide.
