Permalink Reply by Alan on November 12, 2008 at 1:13pm: 'Pirfect Blue'. It is undoubtably the best anime, saddly it is old, so the animation is not as shiny and crisp as newer anime. It is a great psychological thriller.

For teen life I feel the best anime is 'Beck Mongolian Chop Squad'
For action it's 'Trigun'
For visuals it's 'Paprika'
For a mix of comedy/action 'Trigun'

Other greats: Death Note, Akira, Princess Mononoke, Ghost in the Shell, Grave of the Fireflys, Nausicca and the Valley of the Wind, Paranoia Agent, Porco Roso, & Tokyo Godfathers.

I also like 'FLCL' for it is an anime about the fall from innocence mixed in with A LOT of parady jokes about other anime. But if you don't catch the parodys or dont know much about anime, you won't like it as much.; ▶ Reply to This

Plus it seemed like Kishimoto was in love with Sasuke for a while.

This is really tough, Full Metal ALchemist.
