Yes, because thoughts and opinions from almost a year ago are completely irrelevant and should be ignored. Much better to start on a blank slate, as there could not possibly be any useful insight in a post that is nearly a year old.

Most people who post in threads that old are probably gone by now, and people would probably be expecting replies from people who aren't here anymore. It's much better to start on a blank slate so people don't waste time replying to people who will probably never reply back.

Also, that thread was more about sexting and slutbashing, not asking people what they'd define as a slut and what they think of people who are labeled as sluts. I think they're different enough.

It's not even the same topic. That thread was about a story about a girl who happened to be called a slut and the resulting consequences. This is about the definition of a slut and what qualifies someone to be one in modern society, specifically high school.

I don't get slut bashing. Never did. Except maybe out of jealousy. I wish I could get laid whenever I wanted (well I can because I have a girlfriend who lives with me, but that's beside the point).

Basically, girls who get off on insulting "slut" desperately need to get a cock on their person. Guys who do it typically deserve the exact opposite.
