Nerdfighters

Have you ever heard someone make a comment that was just stupid? it could be stupid because of the situation(like you were talking about what a word means for 10 minutes, then the person asked what it meant again(and they actually mean it, they really don't know)) or ignorant (like when someone in my class made a comment about how it was random that the Iraqis don't like the US!sorry to bring politics into it...)
So yeah... stupidest comment you've ever heard.

I swear to God and All That is Holy, this conversation really happened in my english class:

Jewish Friend: "This poem is weird...it's all about Hitler and stuff..."
Stupid Girl: "Oh, I love Hitler!"
JF and I stared at her for a second before dying of laughter.

SG: "W-what.. oh! Are you Jewish?!"
JF: "Yes."
SG: "No, like, I meant that like, I liked his name! *epic fail*"

The intelligence at my school is staggering...ly low.
in high school, a guy in my history class said
'isn't george Bush George Wahington's son?"

so much for current events...
WTF?
I had a whole argument with someone at my college as to whether or not bunnies laid eggs.
yeah, it was awful. she insisted that this was the reason for Easter eggs. The same girl argued that cheese is a vegetable.
Miro: "Uh, Jasper... you've got some pasta above your eye."
(Jasper wipes it off)
Miro: "How the FUCK do you get pasta above your eye?!"

My class is another species entirely...

... Moron, and the people agreeing with him are morons too...
The other day, at the Supernova convention, me and my friends were eating lunch completely in silence, and I came out with the incredibly intelligent "For a second there, I forgot I had parents."
Which I did, but still I felt like a douche afterwards for saying it, because now I get all sorts of remarks along the lines of "Hey Ellen, you know you have parents, right?" *facepalm*

Saddest part is, I say stuff like that all the time.

Also, "Sometimes I wonder why things fall, and then I'm like, oh wait, gravity."
I hate me.
I have those moents all the time... when you forget like, something really obvious about the world, and its kinda cool, cause for a second you feel like a kid again, where the line between what was real and true and what wasn't is blury to say the least, but then you say it poutloud and you just feel like a doof.

Like the other day I shook my head, and my hair flew in front of my eyes and i like, freaked out then i was like, oh god I forgot I had hair... and my friend gave me the best WTF look ever... Cause I've pretty much always had long hair... silly me :) (Has anyone else notcied that WTF is FTW backwards?)
Exactly! Like, they aren't things that are on your mind all the time, so you just kind of forget about them, and then when you're reminded of them you're like, oh wait, yeah!
A few incredibly moronic things that one particular classmate has said -

Teacher: What is the deepest ocean in the world?
Girl in class: Uuuhhh, the Deep Blue Sea ain't it?

The same girl as above: Well if there's no wind in space then how do the planets move?
Me: I'm not going to lower myself by answering that question.

Me (discussion on space travelling): What about the first animal in space? That dog, Laika.
That infamous girl: NO, NO, NO! That's not it. It begins with 'Z', what is it?... I know Krypto.
Me: A) Krypto doesn't begin with 'Z' you idiot. B) Kyrpto is a fictional character, therefore is clearly didn't go into space.

It astounds me how bloody ignorant people can be.
Lol, stupidiest thing ever said to me... I was in my highschool history class a few years ago... I'm from NZ, but we had recently moved to the States for a bit, and I was asked to point out NZ on a map... so I did, and one of my classmates said "right in the corner of the globe, where it belongs"
And I laughed, cause you know, I thought it was a joke, and he just looked at me like I was crazy.
Do they not teach geometry in America... corner... globe??!!!

Sigh, it was a really great impression to get of Americans I have to say (which was immeditatly rectified by the ridiculous number of awesome nerdfighter like people in my highschool)

Globe... corner... it sitll makes me giggle :)
