Nerdfighters

Have you ever heard someone make a comment that was just stupid? it could be stupid because of the situation(like you were talking about what a word means for 10 minutes, then the person asked what it meant again(and they actually mean it, they really don't know)) or ignorant (like when someone in my class made a comment about how it was random that the Iraqis don't like the US!sorry to bring politics into it...)
So yeah... stupidest comment you've ever heard.

An ADULT man that I used to be facebook friends with posted on facebook during the U.S. presidential elections (and I quote exactly):

"I'm gonna go far enuf to say that if you are a Christian and u vote for Obama u need to go to the alter and repent."

Literally.

Like, you're entitled to your opinions, but... that's too far.

About twenty minutes before the final exam for precalculus, I ask one of the students if they feel ready. They say they didn't study at all. I ask why, and he says "Well, it's not like it even counts, right? So why bother studying if it won't affect my mark? Even if I get 0% on this exam, I'll still have a C."

Just for the record. The exams are about 50% of our mark. The teacher had been telling us this since the first day of the semester.

Someone at my school once said Star Wars is gay... D:

In my World History class (which starts from the Industrial Revolution because American History is adding another 75 years. yep, the genius that is school bureaucracy, right?), we had a map test. We had to show where all the continents were, the equator, tropic lines, an/arctic lines, and prime meridian.

People copied off me; others failed it.

In my AP US History class the teacher asked a girl how people traveled on the water when transporting goods and she replied "I don't know. Walking."

"Stop being so inconspicuous, you know, hungry!" - girl outside of 7-11 in LA, circa 1996.

"I love Nirvana. When are they making a new album?" My sister asked me this.

"What continent is Asia on?" dumb girl blurts out in history class (during test).

"Africa!" says smart kid sarcastically.
A couple weeks back in my U.S. History class while we we're learning about Ghandi and MLK Jr.'s ideas, a boy who sits behind me tapped my shoulder and asked, "Hey, what's Ghandi's last name?". I DON'T THINK I CAN EVER FORGET THAT HILARIOUS MOMENT.
