Ever randomly met/seen a Nerdfighter in real life?

I went to the Grand Canyon on Monday and Tuesday for a vacation. As I was slogging back up from a "short" hike into the canyon, a group of boys from a Jewish school in Elizabeth, NJ walked by. They were loud... and there were a lot of them. So, we stood aside and let them pass. As they passed I heard one of them say "This is jokez!" I was very excited to spot a Nerdfighter out in the real world. I felt like I was spotting some rare wild animal. Or maybe it was just a friend of a Nerdfighter who has now picked up our lingo. Has any one else randomly met a Nerdfighter out there in the real world (as opposed to in the virtual world)?
