Tim Burton!

This is a little random but...isn't he awesome? He's fricking made of awesome! Don't even SAY he's not made of awesome.

Sorry, I'm a very big fan and wondered if my fellow Nerdfighters were too? If so, what are your favourite films of his?

Mine are: Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow, Corpse Bride, NBC, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...
I just realised that I'm gonna end up listing every one of his films.

Well, it's sort of Johnny's natural speech I think. In interviews and stuff he sounds similar to his characters (except when he had the accent for Finding Neverland).

It is like his natural speech, but a little altered. Naturally, if you listen carefully, he has a hint of a southern accent. i haven't seen finding Neverland, so i don't know what he sounded like there.

He had to do a Welsh accent, I think. It was pretty good. Oh, also in Sleepy Hollow and Corpse Bride he did English accents.

Indeed he is. I too loved Sleepy Hollow; it made me laugh and grossed me out at the same time. Also, a genuinely well-made film. (Obv, since it's Burton :D)

Apparently he might be in the next Batman film as The Riddler, which I am super-excited about!

except maybe charlie and the chocolate factory. it had a great cast and all, but to me it was just too dark. meh.

sweeney todd was great, if you like that sort of thing. i saw it as the usical dork that i am, but i couldnt even look at the screen for a lot of it. helena bonham carter is great, though.

Tim Burton is amazing. I adore his work. Just the style of it and how artful each scene is. I was not a huge Sweeny fan but that's just me. I appreciated it but I didn't love it.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel so totally completely AWESOME because I thought that I was Tim Burton's only fangirl! AND NOW I KNOW I'M NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am arguably his most obsessive fan EVER, I love the man with every fiber of my being, he is the one of the greatest creative minds of our time! My absolute favourite Tim films are Sweeney Todd, Sleepy Hollow, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice and MUCH MUCH more! I especially love the period films he does, they are so beautiful, it is my DREAM to be in one of his films, as an actress, that is my goal in life. I would also very much like to be in a Catherine Hardwicke, Julie Taymor or James Cameron film, but that is beside the point.

Plus I forgot to say that I absolutely adore the relationshp between Tim and Johnny, it is just so perfect it's almost as if one can read the other's mind at all times. They're like one being when they work, it's almost supernatural. Another very unrealistic dream of mine is to be able to think with Tim the way that Johnny does..that's rather nerdy idn't it?

love him. sweeney todd was great. his charlie and the chocolate factory was way better than the original. all of the burton/depp collab movies are uh-mazing.

He's the best director of his time as far as I'm concerned. My favourite film of his is deffinately Edward Scissor hands. I love that film so much.
But Nightmare before christmas, the corpse bride and beetle juice deffinately followe close behind.

I love that Johnny Depp is in so many of his movies. Amazing Actor + Amazing Director = FILMS MADE OF WIN
