Are there any other Twilight haters out there???

Obviously, I hate Twilight. Everyone seems to love it so much, and I don't understand! Am I the only one?


EDIT- I didn't check this thread for a few days and it exploded. If any Twilight lovers are here just to flame us, please go away. Everyone of course is entitled to their own opinion, and if you want to agree or disagree respectfully, welcome.

whoa...the same thing happened to me.

The first time, after the movie ended, I just sat for a while in shock...

But then the second time...my sister and I just...could not stop quoting it o.o

It is an odd experience. I too thought it was moronic the first time. I turned it off after 5 minutes of viewing. A few weeks later though a friend sat me down and forced me to watch it all the way through and I actually...enjoyed it.
But then I tried watching it again recently and I was back to thinking it was dumb.

And yes, I am a twilight 'hater'. I read the first book and gagged the whole way through at every mention of bella and edward's "romance". I'm also opposed to its so called "abstience" message. seems to me to be the exact opposite. While Bella does wait to marry. She marries and has a child at like 20 years old (and this has been her goal since she was 18?). Considering Twilights significant preteen fanbase - and really any female fanbase - this is not a positive message to send to anyone.

its the weirdest occurrence ... but honestly just sit down and watch it a second time... and it somehow becomes entertaining ... i cant explain it ... it just does.

When i first saw the movie ... totally hated it, thought it was senseless and stupid. watched it a second time ... i don't even remember why or how ... and i enjoyed it. I didn't think it was the greatest movie made or anything like that but i enjoyed it enough that no longer despised it

I LOVE Napolean Dynomite! And the reason I love it, is because it's so stupid! haha. It's so pathetic, you can't help but laugh at it...even if it has no point...and its really not that funny....okay, maybe i actually hate that movie...hehe xD

If you watch it with the director commentary, you learn that almost everything in that movie is based on their lives.

Which is why that movie is amazing.
