Are there any other Twilight haters out there???

Obviously, I hate Twilight. Everyone seems to love it so much, and I don't understand! Am I the only one?

EDIT- I didn't check this thread for a few days and it exploded. If any Twilight lovers are here just to flame us, please go away. Everyone of course is entitled to their own opinion, and if you want to agree or disagree respectfully, welcome.

Things I Hate About Twilight:
Writing- it's bad; there is no way around this fact.
Repetitive vocabulary- how many times can one use the words 'topaz', 'beautiful', 'ocher', 'velvet', 'russet', 'crooked', 'sob', etc. in their writing?!
Bella is the epitome of a 'damsel in distress', which I find disgusting considering the amount of times she 'breaks down' or 'sobs into Edward's cold chest' or is carried around in the arms of Edward and Jake.
Edward is too lovey-dovey; it's sickening sometimes.
The whole 'lack of fangs' issue has yet to be addressed; Meyer has been very vague about that.

Things I Like About Twilight:
It's extremely addictive.
The plot is very interesting...if only it were in more capable hands.
Jake, alone, makes the series worth reading...I love those werewolves!; ▶ Reply to This

For these reasons, I do not like Bella much.
She does absolutely nothing to help the female sex.
She encourages the standards put in place by the patriarchal society that we live in today.
