Anyone getting tired of the constant barrage of ads on all various types of entertainment?

2) There is a certain point were more money isn't a good thing and i personally think we passed it long ago. Also, there have been plenty of spectacular films that didn't have multi-million dollar budgets and absolutely horrible ones that did. Both it and the movie are spectacular, i just wonder if the world will actually come to that some day o.o

Permalink Reply by Katherine on July 10, 2008 at 12:12pm: I am probably the only person who thinks this, but ads seem to bug me less these days. Most ads are interesting to look at for what they are worth and how they try to get into people's subconsciouses.
Take any new car print ad--sleek background, clean car in a color that sticks out, camera angled to make the front of the car be on the right middleground and the rear be on the left near-background--and try to find a reason to hate the person who came up with it. It's hard because the picture is pretty. That's why advertising doesn't die. We are obsessed with the shiny. Now we all just need to know what exactly that photo implies--adventure, speed, and power--and learn to ignore it because ads are not going to go away.; ▶ Reply to This
