we don't need bigger budget movies, films are just fine the way they are now and big companies like that already have enough money, if not too much

1) I don't think there is an indie theater anywhere nearby :^( (Though that would be awesome)

2) There is a certain point were more money isn't a good thing and i personally think we passed it long ago. Also, there have been plenty of spectacular films that didn't have multi-million dollar budgets and absolutely horrible ones that did. It's all about the director and crew and their talent at film making

Heh, you're right, i guess that was kinda narrow minded of me >.< It just bugs me that our population seems to be falling and falling into mindless consumerism and soon, there will be no way to fix it and i want to fix it before it's too late :^\ Just don't see any other ways to do it, people are so damn greedy (me as no exception, but i'm working at it)

Thanks for the book recomendation too, i'll definitely look into that

Heh, i actually just finished the book yesterday. XD (didn't even know there was a book till a few weeks ago)
Both it and the movie are spectacular, i just wonder if the world will actually come to that some day o.o
XD i actually thought what he was saying was true until he started talking about pills and the stuff on the wall
haha, yea, the movie's ending was pretty dramatic compared to the book's "tick, tick, tick, tick......tink!"
Gah! I hate those, especially when they're louder than whatever you're watching >.<</body>

ABSOLUTELY YES. When products are advertised more than new movies are, that is a bad sign. I go to the movies for entertainment, not commercials!

(trailers are okay, of course)

I am probably the only person who thinks this, but ads seem to bug me less these days. Most ads are interesting to look at for what they are worth and how they try to get into people's subconsciouses.
Take any new car print ad--sleek background, clean car in a color that sticks out, camera angled to make the front of the car be on the right middleground and the rear be on the left near-background--and try to find a reason to hate the person who came up with it. It's hard because the picture is pretty. That's why advertising doesn't die. We are obsessed with the shiny. Now we all just need to know what exactly that photo implies--adventure, speed, and power--and learn to ignore it because ads are not going to go away.

I think were more obbsessed with perfection rather the shine, and it's the advertising that made us that way :^\
