I... don't really care about it, to be honest. He's president, awesome. Black guy. Huzzah.

I don't care if our president is black or white or gray or red or green or yellow or whatever. Race doesn't matter to me. To me, worshipping a man because he's black is just as bad as killing a man because he's black, same as the case for any minority, and same for any majority, and same for either gender. Sure, it's a big step for a minority, but it doesn't mean much at all to me. He's a dude and he's a politician and he's a rock star and he's going to change America for the better or for the worse. I hope it's for the better, to be honest, but the less I expect, the less I'll be disappointed.
And besides, I know I'm a heartless bastard about politicians, but as I said, I have shit to do and watching the inauguration isn't essential to my well being or America's well being or Obama's well being. He'll survive me not watching it. President Obama doesn't even know I exist, he won't cry a tear for me, not even a handful of people or politicians will, so I don't care. I have work to do. Obama has work to do. You should have work to do, too, and I haven't gained nor lost faith in humanity just yet, or America. So hushup, would you?

Life moves on, and so should everybody else. I don't party when there's nothing to party for just yet, especially when I'll fail out of school if I do. Now if you don't mind, stop haggling me about not watching the dumb thing. The school's blasting it in the atrium anyways. All I hear is music. I'm glad I'm doing homework instead.
Jesus Christ. He's just a man. He is just a man. As in, he still bleeds. He may bleed African American Awesome to you, but he bleeds blood to me, so I don't expect him to fart and suddenly all murder stops. Stop acting like he will. He's American, he's our 44th president, the world is watching, and I'm working, and the sun isn't shining any brighter because Obama's in office, pop still spilled all over my carpet and I still cried because my school work and my carpet was ruined, and I still had to get up and listen to my mom scream at me, I still had to take my medicine, I still had to scrape the car this morning, I still didn't have breakfast, or lunch, and I still had to race to school and work my ass into another chest pain fit and I will have to tomorrow too,
and Barack doesn't give a shit. He can't change everything. Change is coming, yes. Change is always coming. And so is the next second or minute you'll waste staring googly-eyed at him.

Move on. Just fucking move on, you're on my last nerves. I'll survive not watching the inauguration, and you'll survive not slamming knives down my throat for it. So hush. Bastard.
