Nerdfighters

Today I was thinking about whether the evil baby orphanage is a good idea or not.
It brings up the question of whether people are born evil or become evil based on life experiences and their surroundings.
The idea I came up with was that instead of having one orphanage where all potentially evil babies go, you have lots of good baby orphanages, and then place one evil baby in each.
Hopefully all of these good babies will influence the evil babies to be better people instead of just having many evil babies in one place influencing each other to do potentially evil things.

Just a random bored thought.
Who agrees?

i was thinking that we could put all the evi babies in an orphanage and blast them into space, then when a new evil babies born we go back to when the baby was born, then when we were putting a baby in the rocket orphanage,
then when ppl find the babies they'll think there Alians
I don't think people are born evil. We are all definately born with the capacity to do evil things, but we're all more or less the products of our raisin'.

I don't think it matters if we put all the "evil babies" in an orpahage together because they're still just babies. They don't get evil until later.
I think you are all misunderestimating (thanks George W. Bush for that word) evil babies. If you put even 5 evil babies in an evil baby orphanage and you let them sit for like... 10 minutes they will manage to destroy the world. Evil babies are evil!
Sounds good. The only problem is if the baby is really evil. If it is, then it would corrupt the whole orphanage. Then we would have thousands of evil children and future evil adults- not in the past, but in the present.
I think the biggest problem with the Evil Baby Orphanage is the name. I mean, the babies are going to know that they're evil if they're in a place called the Evil Baby Orphanage. It's just an inherently bad name. But if we call it the Loving Good Fun Times Orphanage, the babies won't know that they are in a facility for evil babies, and will think they're just in a regular orphanage.
(this explanation obviously requires that the evil babies know how to read and understand the connotations of the word "evil".)
We could call it the EBO and not tell them what it means until they turn eighteen.

One problem with taking baby Hitler is that it would change the timeline. If WWII never happened my parents would have never moved to Los Angeles and never met and I would not exist. How many other nerdfighters would not exist from changes in the timeline.

According to Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker Trilogy (of five book), you can't change history because time fits together like a jigsaw (puzzle). Also I saw a Twilight Zone episode where someone went back in time to kill baby Hitler, but the baby was replaced by a baby taken from gypsies who became the true Evil Hitler.

Hm, the fact that the new baby became evil indicates that it is the environment in which the baby grows up that makes it evil. Although I guess it could be possible that it was the gypsy baby that was born evil, and if the real baby had been left there it would not have been evil. There are too many variables...

I think that the point of that Twilight Zone episode is : "You can't change history!" It seems if you try to change history, you then become part of the history that you were trying to change but couldn't.

We all know about the evil grown-ups. Not many evil people were famous when they were babies, so we don't know if they were born evil or not. If us nerd fighters could figure out what triggered the young evil people to be really evil, we could use that to our advantage instead of fantasizing what caused the baby to be evil and accidentally make the person more evil. I mean, if I was raised on an island inside an island inside another island in the middle of the Pacific and never seeing the real world, I could end up being a pretty messed up person, which is what most evil people are. Just my thoughts

I think that the only true way to test if evil babies are born evil or raised to be evil would be if we had a parallel universe, and left the original Hitler baby in one and replaced it in the other (or some other baby who became evil). If they both grow up evil, it would be their environment. If only one is evil, then it is the baby.

That would be a tad difficult to test...
