Movie Night!

I need some help fellow nerdfighters! My friends and I are having a movie night this Friday, and Hinal (we're having it at her house) wants to watch WHITE CHICKS.
I need a good movie to suggest instead, stat! :-o Help!

I LOVED The Hours - it's kind of depressing though. How about... Princess Mononoke? It's animated. Any movie with Sean Connery is pretty good. You could try...Big Fish, any Pirates of the Caribbean movie, Pride and Prejudice (the 5 hour long version is great, but both versions are pretty decent), any Jane Austen remake - they aren't as great as the books, but they're great entertainment. House of Flying Daggers? Whale Rider? If you are in the mood for a musical, Chicago is great. So is West Side Story.; ▶ Reply to This

Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (my favourite of the 2 but if noone's seen any of them them Excellent Adventure is technically the 1st)
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

Any of those are in a similar vein as White Chicks but with humor at such a level that it's funny if you think about it as well as if you don't think about it, so it works really well on both levels.; ▶ Reply to This
