Then John said, "It's in that long second list. Bright but stupid. And it's a thing. And it's a very very common abbreviation. (And I think you are failing to take bright literally enough.)

As of post 30 most of us agree that it is TV, but do not know if that is the end of the clue or if we have to then take that further (or is it farther?).

As of post 57 we are all officially insane! YAY We keep coming back to TV, but have no idea what to do with it. We are not even positive that is the right answer.

I say we strike Cato the Elder, Edward Cullen, Dr Jefferson Jefferson, Justin Timberlake, Sarah Dessen (wow that would be insulting.), and Edgar Allen Poe off the list. John specifically told us to look for a _thing_. Those are all people. And I'm going to suggest a strong doubt for NF because I don't think he would call us stupid in any sense.

If possible, can we seperate the ones mentioned before "You haven't gotten it yet (and it doesn't start with I, or with B). Bright but stupid. Two letters." and the ones mentioned after that, but before page 39? Because he did say he hadn't read all the comments...so if some of those combinations were only mentioned once or twice, they might have been missed.
