Last call for OBAMA-LOVING NERDFIGHTERS!

Hey guys . . .

I posted this on my blog here, but this is my last shout-out before I lock the site.

I need some help, as many of you as I can get.

For a few months now, I've been working on a project called YA for Obama. Basically, I realized that most YA authors love Obama and thought I'd ask as many as I could to contribute to one big website and online community. I got LOADS of responses (John and Hank are a part of this, so you know, as is Judy Blume, Meg Cabot, Scott Westerfeld, Libba Bray, and MANY MORE.)

And it's a NING! So everyone can participate! It's going to be HUGE!

The site will not be going live until SEPTEMBER 25th. However, I am going to temporarily unlock it and let Nerdfighters sign up. There is nothing going on there right now . . . I'm still setting it up. But I wanted to populate it a bit, get some people chatting on the forums, etc. So I'm asking you to be part of the SECRET!

And when the new people come on September 25th, please say hi to them! You're the first! You will be the cool kids!

The YA for Obama population is ever-growing, but we could still use more people, especially nerdfighters, because, as well all know, NFs are comprised entirely of awesome, and no website is truly complete without a lot of awesome. :D

Even if you aren't 100% pro-Obama, or even if your 100% pro-McCain, you can still come over. There isn't a single person on there who will be rude to you or not respect your opinions, and I don't know about you, but I find debating people great for hours of intelligent entertainment.

I also totally love the daily blog posts. They're so well written. This is really an exciting and important time in political history and I love that there is a place online where anyone and everyone can be part of it.
