very un-awesome e-mail-related problem thingy! (help plees)

i keep getting e-mails notifying me of oeverything that happens on this site. i mean EVERYTHING. everytime you reply to a discussion, i hear about it, every time you leave a comment, i hear about it, everytime ANYONE does ANYTHING, i frickin hear about it. this only started in the last couple of days (pretty much eactly after that e-mail Maureen sent out. no idea if that has anything to do with it)

has this happened to anyone else? why is it happening now? confusion! wah!

Permalink Reply by ryanWOO on September 11, 2008 at 12:19pm: Ok, so go to EVERY SINGLE CONVERSATION you have ever replied to. Then on every single one of them, click "Stop Following".

It's tedious, but it DOES work, I did it and my life is now neat and tidy (or at least my inbox is.)

Also, whenever you get a comment/friend request/message you get an email, though I'm not sure what to do about that.

Or maybe the COmputer Imps need to get a message to you, and so they have redirected ALL emails regarding the ning to you, so as you might get a whiff of their message.
