Katherines or Alaska?

If you had to pick (both are great books) but if you had to pick a favourite between the two, which would it be?
Mine would def. be Katherines as I find myself relating to it more.

I think both books are brilliant but I think that Alaska beats it. Only just though :P
Alaska was just more interesting to read, although I must say, kudo's to John for doing all the detail in Katherines when Colin was talking. I mean, doing that whole epic sentance of the 99 didgets of pie when Colin changed 1=A 2=B so he could remember it was just a little insane :P lol.

See, here's the thing. I am a lit major. I have this whole serious side to my reading. And that side is screaming at the top of it's lungs: Looking for Alaska!

But then there's the rest of me, the huge chunk that loves to read for the sheer joy that comes of reading, and that side is saying An Abundance of Katherines. So, I am torn.

Katherines is awesome, but Alaska was way more deep and thought-provoking for me. :)

Alaska! It has such a deep and profound meaning in it, where as Katherines is kinda just about Colin getting over his Katherine streak.
