Permalink Reply by Autumn on December 16, 2010 at 2:37pm I've actually thought about doing this myself and I this idea is awesome! One idea I had was to sit by a kid at school who doesn't have many friends. You'll make them happy and you might make a new friend that you wouldn't normallly know. DFTBA!

What are you good at? Use that. :)
Call someone you haven't talked to in a long time just to talk or reunite...
Create something (artistic, perhaps?) for a friend.
Pick up trash from the ground in public places and through it out.
Feed ducks? :P
Permalink Reply by Michi Noel on January 7, 2011 at 6:14am You could pick up a shift one day out of the week for volunteer services at the Humane Society, Goodwill, or anywhere around your area. A mere two hours makes all the difference in the world.
Charity walks are a great way to stay fit AND help decrease world suck!
You could start a garden to lessen your consumerism and shrink your carbon footprint. Always great! Plus, gardening=staying healthy.
Plant a tree :D
Go without electricity for a day? May be difficult but it does help use a lot less energy.
Join a rally for a school fundraiser or donate to schools that BADLY need to be donated to.

Permalink Reply by Duncan Masters on August 1, 2012 at 10:13pm Go without meat for a day (or longer?); take a walk around the block and pick up trash along the way; buy something at Goodwill (or any charity-based thrift store); post a information for a blood drive on Facebook (or any place others will see it); get a pile of organ donor cards/pamphlets and leave them in useful places.
