Nerdfighters

Last year I participated in a 50 book challenge and I fell a little short of the mark, but only cuz I started about 3 months into the year (ahem, yeah right). Several fellow nerdfighters wanted to join me in my quest, so here we are!

Start a thread with your personal goal for 2.0.0.9, and then add on as you read throughout the year. This way we get to see what everyone else is reading & keep each other in check. Feel free to add me as a friend, or you might get a friends request from me--so we keep each other in line!

Good Luck,
Allison :-)

P.S. YES, there will be a 50 Book Challenge 2.0.1.0!!

Added Note: Here's my list of what I have read so far for this year's challenge! http://nerdfighters.ning.com/profiles/blogs/my-50-book-challenge-fo...

I'm doing this too. I have a stack of books to read but I'm too lazy to put them down. I've reread Wicked, and have read 2 new books already. (short how to draw books 1-2)

They definitely count!

I'm in. I just went on a book buying spree (7 new books!) and my stack of books-to-be-read is so tall it has basically become my bedside table.

I already have 1 book down. And am almost done numbers 2 & 3 (I read multiple books at a time, until I finished book 1 I was juggling 3). I generally average about a book a week, more in the summer, so I'm not too worried about reaching the 50 book goal. I'm counting re-reads, too, just because I can (but I'm limiting to 1 re-read a month).

Good luck everyone!

1. Deadeye Dick - Kurt Vonnegut
2. Ham On Rye - Charle Bukowsli
3. Letters to a Young Poet - Rainer Maria Wilke
4. Anne of Green Gables - L.M. Montgomery
5. Hamlet - Shakespeare
6. Twelfth Night - Shakespeare

2 of those are in progress and 2 of them are re reads so they went faster and most of them were started last year. Letters to a young poet is supah short.
