Hello!
I wanted to know what you guys' tactics are/or were for doing homework & not getting distracted. Homework is always at the bottom of my list, & I usually get it done the morning before it's due (11PM-3AM), which is very unhealthy sleep wise. I know that I have to do it, but there's so many better things I could be doing to fit homework into my schedule. Ever since 6th grade (I'm now in 8th), I've became more & more of a procrastinator. How can I fix that? What do (or did you do if you're finished with school) to make sure you got all of your homework done? Thanks in advance...now I'm off to do my homework.

The sooner you do it, the sooner its done and you can do all those things you'd rather be doing. I just sit down and start doing it. Do the subjects you hate first so you'll have the subjects you like to look forward to.
Unfortunately, I kind of struggle with the exact same problem, having ADD doesn't help either.
The best thing to do is to not start anything distracting in the first place - when you get home from school, instead of taking a break by reading a book, going on the internet, or watching tv, eat a snack and then get some exercise or get started right away on your work. Time spent doing most leisure activities gets extended REALLYYY quickly, and even if you make a limit, it's tough to follow.
For long term stuff, try making a calendar showing EXACTLY what you want to get done in the time frame you have, on each day, or for even longer term, each week. I have trouble doing long term stuff because I work best under pressure, so that combined with me half-imagining that I'd fail if I don't finish whatever that day works nicely.
The few times I've made myself actually do that kind of stuff worked really well. So try to not be like me, I guess, and actually do that kind of thing, or whatever works for you. Good luck!
