An Indecent Proposal

I don't know how many people have seen this or heard this yet, but the Westboro Baptist Church has come out with their very own twisted version of "We Are The World". It's entitled, "God Hates the World" (of course. If they can't write their own song, you can't expect them to come close to changing their slogan can you?). Now, at first while I was watching it I found it hilarious. Then it got to the end of the video and my demeanor changed entirely. While I knew that this was happening over in that twisted and distorted view of a church, it didn't impact me as much until I saw the end of this video. It's completely and utterly disgusting, inhumane, and monstrous. Watch it and see what I'm talking about.

God Hates the World - Watch more Funny Videos So today I jokingly made a facebook comment saying that I could not wait until Fred Phelps died so that I could dance on his grave. My proposal is to have a meeting the day of his funeral, the location of his funeral, and then we will fucking river dance on his grave. Anyone game?

I admire the great civilizations (i.e. Ancient Greeks, Japanese, Chinese) who accepted homosexuality... and they weren't just a sect!

Plus, in my opinion, these guys are just as fundamentalists as those muslim extremists (I know you might think I'm overreacting, but they seem pretty rough in their opinions).; ▶ Reply to This

And yeah, as Sabelmouse said, the Greeks embraced homosexuality, but their treatment of non-Greeks, slaves, and women was, in some ways and instances, abhorrent. But that's the ancient historian in me speaking.; ▶ Reply to This
