I'm currently in the last few weeks of my final semester of college, which has seriously limited my writing time. When I do have free time, I use the BICFOK method - Butt In Chair, Fingers On Keyboard. I set either a time limit or a word count goal, depending on how much time I have, and don't let myself get up until that limit/goal has been reached.

At least you have a goal. I, on the other hand, rush to the keyboard every time something good and/or weird hits me in the head, and I have yet to produce even ONE finished work :/
