"Awesome"

As Nerdfighters, we are all supposedly "Awesome". But, I have came across a conundrum. I am not sure how many nerdfighters there are, but I'm sure there are lots each with their own personality. That being said, personallities will collide. So, is it possible to find an "Un-Awesome" nerdfighter? I mean, I have not met every nerdfighter, but I'm sure it is possible for me to find one "Un-Awesome" nerdfighter or atleast their opinion "Un-Awesome" (does that sound harsh?). But I'm sure that nerdfighter has friends who think he(she) is awesome. So, does that mean he(or she) is awesome, or not?

Every person has their own ability to form their own opinions.
Just because you're a nerdfighter doesn't mean that EVERYONE has to think you're awesome.

Nerdfighters are people too. We have flaws. Everyone does, you don't like everyone IRL do you? Well it's the same in Nerdfighteria.

Being a nerdfighter is AWESOME, but you won't seem awesome in everyone's eyes, because everyone is different. Just because you don't see someone as awesome doesn't mean that they're not, everyone has a different view of what's "awesome," but somewhere in the world, you will find someone who thinks that the person you find "notsome" to be "awesome."

Everyone is awesome in their own way, it just takes the right person to see it.

I don't really consider myself a nerdfighter, but maybe I'm just an outlier and don't buy into labels. I certainly do not fit the average nerdfighter personality.
I will say though, after having been around this site for a while, that there are "nerdfighters" who are definately not awesome. I posted a thread a while back that had about an equal awesome/unsome ratio.

Since each person is different, each having their own personality, as you pointed out, wouldn't that mean that we each have our own opinion of awesome? I mean, I think Frank Sinatra is awesome, but other people might say Eminem (did I spell that right?) is awesome. Some people think Harry Potter is awesome and some think Twilight is awesome. So if we each have our own standards that make something awesome, I think we can all collectively agree that being a nerdfighter does make you awesome, at least by the standards of other nerdfighters. So, to summarize, since each person has their own opinion of awesome, each person of the human population can't possibly agree that one thing is awesome and, that being said, I think all of Nerdfighteria can agree that being a nerdfighter does indeed make you awesome.

i was thinking this the other day.. some one can be "awesome" to some people but not every one. we try to be nice to each other in here but at the end of they day we are all human.the people her are just better at keeping who they dont like to them selves and thats one thing people need to learn in life,is that some things need to be kept to your self. but i do think its almost strange to not see any drama here what so ever. there have been debates i have read but never a shouting match or cuss words thrown every where...so what would happen if there were a fight or drama? would everything b thrown off tilt? and the only way you will find some one who is un-awesome to you is if your really looking for them and do you really wanna waste your time looking for someone you dont like lmao =)

To be fair, I've never went out of my way to find someone I dislike, or be around someone I dislike. Unfortunately, it seems they go out of their way to find me, or be around me.

late reply i know lol but uncool people finding you must really suck.... but why is it that these people who are finding you , you do not like them? are they doing strange things, being uber annoying? or just plane mean and if they are just mean then i say be mean back and block em or something theres no need for that crap =)

For the most part, they're mean. Now, it's mainly just one person. I would be a jerk back, but he is like twice my size and he gets in trouble for fighting a LOT. He's gotten arrested and been to juvy (juvy once, arrested X many of times). I stay strong, I don't talk to him, and I don't let him see that I am a little afraid. Oh, and the only class I have with him is Weightlifting and the Coach is never there except for roll call.

Besides, for the most part of the year, he is in ISS or OSS (except for the first few weeks or so)

There are people claiming to be Nerdfighters who are, in fact, not awesome.

Most people here are fine, but some people here are a bigger lie than the cake.
