Beautiful Poetry. Well.. My kind of beautiful, there aren't flowers or daises guys don't worry.

Who would have guessed my 1st thread would be about poetry.

It's called 'storm'.
After you watch you will know why I decided to make my first thread about a poem and not well... what I usually post.
This poem is so beautiful it brings a tear to my black and hateful heart. ^_^

I know this leaves little to discuss, but I figured why not make my first thread mean something.

There's is finally a third poem in this world that I enjoy. That was awesome.
3rd poem.
I must know the first two.
Ozymandias-Percy Bysshe Shelley
Invictus- William Ernest Henley

They can be found on the internets.
Both fucking amazing poems.

(I love Shelley!)
Oh my. Thank you; thank you for posting this. I agree with your definition of beautiful.
Hehehe I'm glad someone likes it.
Bump - I think more people should see this.
I was reluctant to hit play on a 9 minute video, but damn am I glad I did. Fantastic.
I agree.
I actually watched the first two lines and got bored. I skipped half way through to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I quickly went back and watched it from the beginning after I saw a couple of the lines.
The interwebs is all about instant gratification. It's kind of sad and also kind of cool.
For some reason, the begining remindsed me of the prologue of The Canterbury Tales. Stupid AP English making me thing of everything in terms of Chaucer and Arthurian Legends haha
It seems the youtube user has removed the video. :( Edit: Okay, wow, it seems youtube just hates me. Fine....whatever. >:(

Here's a link to the poem. It's written by the oh so fantabulous Tim Minchin. Zoh my god, do I love Tim Minchin.

That was very entertaining! (now that I've read it for a second time)
