I don't see why not, but I know there's a few people that disagree with me.

One the one hand, most drugs aren't good for your brain, so that's one important con for nerds.

On the other hand, Carl Sagan was a major pothead...
Many major cultural and scientific influences have been on drugs. For example many Romantics took opium regularly, although I don't think that the way these substances are managed today make it suitable for nerdiness.
yeahh that's what i think, its influenced so much
Most drugs do indeed have some rather unhealthy side effects. Weed, however, does not. I've searched everywhere I could think and even got one of my Professors to let me use his EBSCO host account to search for peer reviewed journals and I found nary a one that had found any evidence that suggested any negative health effects from THC. But I never would have been able to do anything even remotely similar to research on this subject had I been high. So you do have a point. THC makes thinking very difficult.
I was high in a five hour car ride and I just sat there thinking about stuff without out saying a single word for three hours. I'm not saying THC improves your thinking, but it doesn't really decrease it. You just think of different things.
Why would a nerd want to be a stoner?
The only person who would as that is someone who's never tried pot.
it's a good person to be
Again, only something someone would say if they'd never smoked before.
That's not always true. I've smoked before (more than just once, cause the first time doesn't count), and I can't say that I particularly enjoyed it.
I do not really enjoy being high unless I'm going to do anything other than sleep. Like, even just sitting there or eating isn't fun.
But I see how other people would enjoy it.
Yeah, like I went to go see Alice in Wonderlad high the other day, and I was just uncomfortable until it wore off. My friends had a great time though, so I guess it just depends.
