Yeah, I know, it's kind of a played-out internet thing to do, but our computers really are an extension of ourselves. I think it says a lot about who we are just by how we choose to organize our virtual "workspace". So, post screen captures (Print Screen's) of your desktops...AS IS! No cheating by doing last-minute housekeeping!
BTW, I'm too lazy to get out my MacBook and take a screenie of it, so you'll just have to make due with my Windows machine (although, it's been modified to look like my Mac).

nice and dirty, with a nice picture of me and my girflriend, but she doesnt like pictures of herself so i have to make them look weird in photoshop first.

My desktop is on a rotation of about 20 or so, but this one is my favourite.  I also have dual monitors but only maybe 3 of my desktops span them both.

Yes, it stays that clean.  I use my desktop to showcase art I find awesome and I don't want icons messing it up :P
