Could Apple pull off the Tablet?

If Apple does produce this Tablet, I think it'll be the operating system that makes or breaks it. If it ships with OS X Snow Leopard, or even a slimmed down version, lt'll be awesome. However, if it ships with the iPhone OS, it'll be completely redundant. Why would I pay a couple hundred bucks more for a device that does the same thing as a phone, minus the phone and fact that you can stick it in your pocket. It'd have to have some major feature that blows eveyone away. A larger screen isn't worth an extra $300(or so). Still, if it comes with OS X, then it'll be as awesome as the iPod.

The Apple Tablet is this alleged touchscreen computer that Apple is supposed to release sometime in the future. Some sources are saying that it will have the iPhone OS. It's not confirmed yet, but there's a lot of buzz around it.
