Hey guys,
I'm not sure if you guys have heard of this before. But in Virgina, there is a young girl name Danielle Bartlett who is dieing of cancer and her only wish is to recieve 1000 Get Well Cards before she dies.
No donations please

Her address is

260 Country Club Road
Richwood, W.Va. 26261

- Please make her a card and make her wish come true.
Thank you.
Kuhi

EDIT: Danielle IS NOT dieing of cancer
and is actually Tumor free - but that doesn't mean we still can't send her cards to show our happiness.
:D

Thats weird...I mean, I am not dissing the cancer patient, but thats weird.
TBK - this is no place to be rude
She's a young girl about 10.
The most you can do is
Make her smile before she does pass away.
Why are you saying she is going to die? If it's definite what is the point of "Get Well Soon" cards, I'll be sending a "Good Luck In Heaven" Card.
The girl is going to die
she has Terminal Cancer.
But before she does die, she wants 1000 cards in her room
Many people with terminal illnesses can live for much longer than expected, I am going to die, so are you and so is she, but it is never certain when, even for her. I just don't think you should say it in that flat hopeless manner, that's like crying at a birth.
i'm sorry if my message seems very hopeless
i did'nt mean to convey that.
I am not being rude at all. It just seems weird that a 10 year old girl who is apparantly dying is requesting 1000 get well cards...I mean everyone would react differently, but I would probably SEND OUT 1000 cards.
If I get cancer and I know I'm gonna die, I'm gonna do awesome shit. Like finally get my BFVOCP and go skydiving- maybe at the same time.

Also, I am too much of a douchebag to send this girl a card.
Kind of like that Japanese girl who had leukemia, so she began making a thousand paper cranes, because if you do that then supposedly one of your wishes will come true, but she died before she finished:(
I remember that story. My teacher told me that in class. It's a tough life.
Hi everyone! I will definiely send a card, but I just thought I'd let you know that Danielle Bartlett is NOT dying. Here's a quote from her family:
Just to let everyone know-we were NOT aware that Danielle's story was being put on the Steve Harvey show-and we most certainly were not aware that they announced her story or said that she was "dying" until I started getting emails and cards. I am unsure how or why this happened, but hope that with everyone's help we can get this rumor stopped. I understand that it was done out of love, but hope that we can get the good news out there that Danielle is fine and feeling wonderful-thanks again to all!

According to the family's CaringBridge website ( http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/daniellebartlett/journal/1 ) Danielle was released from the hospital and, as of October 14, her tumor is gone!

I'll be sending a card to celebrate this great news!
Rose thanks for that news!
i'm going to spread it around aschool..
guess that means i'll have to redo my card
