Dating a non-nerd boy.

Haii :D

So I've just started dating a boy who isn't nerdy in the least. What do you think about that? Will it work, will it not work, are you dating a non-nerdy boy? I'm not gonna like invite him over to watch Doctor Who or anything like that, but I do go on nerd rants a lot and a lot of my time will be spent doing Nerdfighter-related projects. What are your views on this? : )

Abreo and Ashlee are spot on.  Even if he's a sports-nerd instead of a traditional nerd, he can still be any type of person.  It's more important that he's appreciative, reliable, and caring than if he recognizes how freakin' AWESOME Doctor Who is.

 

(BUT, because I do advocate for dorkiness, I'd hook him with Firefly, emphasizing the western elements.)

Trust me on this one. If the boy isn't smart at all, he tends to be a jerk who shows no importance towards your feelings...I know from my experience.

If one can separate Nerdfighter from nerd (nerd being the stereotypical, all A's student with their nose in a book and Nerdfighter being somebody made of awesome who just happens to like Doctor Who and Star Trek and video games and comic books) then maybe he's not one of the guys who would befriend a nerd in any way.
