Do You Want To Be In A Comic Book?

Hello, fellow NerdFighters!

Let me start by saying how sorry I am for how long this ended up being.

Okay, so I've officially been a NerdFighter for all of six days, but if there's anything I've learned in that time and watching what seems like all 400-something videos by the incredible Greens, it is two basic things:

1. NerdFighters are awesome, and

2. NerdFighters are everywhere.

Having reached these two simple revelations during this time, it seemed logical to present my somewhat frustrating problem in the hopes that one of you amazing people can help me solve it.

I'm a comic artist. I've been formally trained to be a Graphic Designer, but I really love to draw. You can see samples of my work here on my deviantArt site: http://cheeko-001.deviantart.com

In November I'll finally be a published author! Isakai Comic Publishing will be printing one of my stories called "The Escort." Yes, it really is a comic book, and it will be about 40 pages long. I'm still waiting on the contract work and other official publishing legalities, but the project is moving forward and I want to get to work on it as soon as possible.

I really need some help on the project; it takes place in the British Museum and the Google Image Search as well as other printed materials have been shockingly unhelpful. If you a) would like your name mentioned AND have a cameo of yourself appear in the comic and b) live somewhere in London or close to the museum to help me take some reference pictures for the comic, I'd be very grateful.

Duties include and are somewhat limited to going to the British Museum and taking reference pictures for me of the interior, focusing specifically on the upper level, the Egyptian exhibit and surrounding rooms. I have been to the museum before (which is why I am setting it there - I spent two days solid just wandering around and sketching everything in sight during my visit). In return for your services I can offer you a cameo in the comic itself - yes, I would draw you and you would appear more than once if I can manage it. Your name will also be printed in the official list of "People I Could Not Have Done This Without" section (if I can squeeze one in there). If you feel this is not enough compensation, I can also offer you a colored piece of artwork of your own description, for which I would normally charge anything from $20 to $45.

Wow, the work comic is enough to gain my love. Unfortunately, I'm an American, so I'll need to sit this one out. Good luck, though.
