Nerdfighters

I found her to be really selfish. She never thought about how her actions affected other people. Like she always flirted with Pudge but he she was never going to seriously return his feelings, she was leading him on. She was really over dramatic, the way she consciously tried to cultivate an aura of mystery. I'm sure she that when she was being normal, she was the met fun person to be around, but i think the colonels judgement of her is pretty accurate. She is kind of a bitch.

She had some pretty serious issues to deal with. People with abuse and neglect in their past or strong feelings of guilt often behave erratically.

Pity she didn't have a chance or ability to work it out .

yeh I didn't like her either but then again Miles annoyed me too, they were really self obsessed but it interested me so that's why I enjoyed the book. They were foreign personalities for me so I didn't like them but I kind of liked that. It suited them if that makes sense.
Hmmm it was actually Miles who irked me a bit sometimes. Alaska wasn't perfect but he sort of made her out to be this funny, wild, interesting, perfect girl which she essentially was (minus the perfect part), but he failed to neglect her emotional issues and how they effected her as a person. In the end, he never really knew who she was completely. He let his fantasies get in the way of reality.
