A new law is being looked at (at least in indiana) that would allow people to have a gun in their car. It would have to be locked away OR out of sight (meaning throw this jacket over it...). Exceptions are places like schools, churches, day-cares. This is so people feel "safer." I think it is the stupidest thing ever. Go second amendment rights, but really?

This is already legal in my state. It has to be in a case and unloaded, but you can have the ammunition in your car also. How else would you be able to transport it?
