Dear nerdfighters,

Let me start by apologizing for my english, it was a long night. I'll try to google as much as I can.

I've read Dune, The Butlerian Jihad and I'm reading Dune Messiah at the moment. However, I'm wondering if it's worth reading the other eleven books.

What do you guys think of the original hexology and the prequels written by Kevin J Anderson and Brian Herbert?

No answers in this long. Bit of a shame.

The Dune novels continue with the elaborate plotting, and plots within plots within plots, right up to the very end.

I enjoyed the lot of it, personally.

The Frank Herbert books are great.

The Anderson/Brian Herbert books are just milking the literary cash cow.

I love the Frank Herbert books you should read all six of those, but it's not worth reading J Anderson and Brian Herbert books apart from Hunters of Dune and Sandworms of Dune that finsh off the Frank Herbert.
