The Great Gatsby. I also really liked 1984.

Gatsby definitely. I'm playing with reading it for the third time since John announced it as our summer read.

Ditto for Gatsby. It was already one of my favourites but studying it just added a whole new layer that I'd never considered before. Plus we had studied 1920s America for history which provided lots of context.

I'm reading The Outsiders in class right now. We haven't finished and DALLAS GOT SHOT?!?! I don't want to have to cry in front of my class. That's also my favourite assigned book right now.

My Honors English class read BNW this year and I think I speak for all of G period when I say: It. Was. Beast.
Personally I loved it.

I've only ever been assigned 2 books; To Kill A Mockingbird and Junk.

I definately prefer Junk by Melvin Burgess. It's amazing xD
