Nerdfighters

This might already exist, but I didn't feel like sifting through the massive amount of discussions.

When I was a kid, I almost exclusively read Pippi Longstocking books by Astrid Lindgren.
I didn't broaden my horizons much for a long time, but I read all the Little House on The Prairie books in 3rd and 4th grade. I mainly read school material until 6th grade, which is sad.  But hey! Better late than never!

Before I found Harry Potter, I was a big Junie B Jones fan. I also really like the Baily School Kids. I don't know if anyone else read them, but I liked them a lot. Looking back, they were all pretty much the same ("An adult in our life might be a vampire/mermaid/angel/werewolf! But probably not, because that's stupid. But look! Suspicious antics! Disappearances! Not sayin' they were totally a mythical creature, but it sure looks that way!") but they were still my favorites.
I loved Sherlock Holmes, and Clue, anndd A series of Unfortunate events.
My favorite book was Tiger eyes by Judy Blume. I carried it with me everywhere for most of 3rd and 4th grade.
The Clue books were fantastic! I loved all the explanations at the start of each book, how Mr. Body managed to survive his "death" in the last one.
-Peter Pan
-Bridge to Terabithia
-Number the Stars
-Picture of Hollis Woods
-Where the Wild Things Are
-Strega Nona
-The Velveteen Rabbit
-Green Eggs and Ham
-A Wrinkle in Time
-The Secret Garden
-Junie B. Jones books
-Magic Tree House books
-Goosebumps books
-Boxcar Children books
-The BFG (Big Friendly Giant)
-Harriet the Spy
-Matilda
-Tuck Everlasting
-Little House on the Prairie books
-Bud, Not Buddy

there were more, but the titles are escaping me.
Oh goodness, A wrinkle in time! We read that out loud in class over a period of like four months and all I can remember is being sooo confused. xD

Awww, I loved Bud, Not Buddy!

Where The Wild Things Are always scared me whan I was little =_= My mom kept forcing me to read it(she thinks it's awesome) and for some reason it scared the pre-schooler crap outta' me.
I used to love Geronimo Stilton, in fact I use to buy every single one as they came out. Emily eyefinger and the Selby books were also good too :)
I loved the classics when I was little: The Secret Garden, A Little Princess, Heidi, Black Beauty. I love Charlotte's Web and the Anne of Green Gables books. I adored Ramona Quimby and The Boxcar Children. Little House on the Prairie. The Babysitter's Club, Goosebumps.
Harry Potter will always have a special place in my heart, for it was the first book that I ever read that made me realize how I love books.

My other favorites are:
-His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman
-The Chronicles of Naria
-The Secret Garden
And I can't remember the rest.
I liked Little house on the prarie :)
and I loved the Harry potter series, I still do :3
but, other than that, when I was younger, I detested reading. I wasn't until grade 7-ish that I began to warm up to it, and now I am an insane bookworm :D
Most of my favorites have already been mentioned but my all time favorite series was definitely animorphs. :]

Before I found harry potter of course!
