Favorite Looking For Alaska Quotes

Hello, fellow Nerdfighters. If you have read Looking For Alaska, I'd like to see the quotes you liked most or found to be the most meaningful as well as the page number where they can be found. I know there have been other discussions like this, but I wanted to start one in which we shared the page numbers as well. This is one of my favorite books, just behind Paper Towns.

also when the colonel says something about hating the weekday warriors and the asian guy (I can't remember his name) says, "dude, your girlfriend is a weekday warrior"

This is on page 88.

So I did.

The lines are so simplistic but lead up to such an important action that gets shadowed by the After part of the book, but that event is left as an ever returning ghost in Pudge's mind.

I know it's rather depressing, but I really relate to it.

Lol. I'm just reading through these nice, relatively serious quotes and then I come across, ""because no one can catch the motherfucking fox"" It made my day. Anyway, some of my favourites are:

 

"After all this time, it still seems to me like straight and fast is the only way out- but I choose the labyrinth. The labyrinth blows, but I choose it." pg. 216

 

"Because I will forget her, yes. That which came together will fall apart imperceptibly slowly, and I will forget, but she will forgive my forgetting, just as I forgive her for forgetting me and the Colonel and everyone but herself and her mom in those last moments she spent as a person." pg. 219

 

"That's the mystery, isn't it? Is the labyrinth living or dying? Which is he trying to escape- the world or the end of it?" pg. 19

ROTFL!!!!!  I laughed so hard the day my son read this to me I almost ran us off the road!  Every once in a while when I'm stressed or feeling down my son will sneak up behind me and recite this line.  It's the ONLY time I let him curse...and it's worth it! :-)
