Favorite Places to Travel Anyone?

A couple of years ago I went to Europe for the first time (Italy), and I cannot wait to go back. Does anyone have any suggestions of anywhere else around the world I should travel? It doesn't have to be a really touristy place or anything like that. Just some place that stands out in your mind as a truly remarkable experience.

Australia is pretty sweet I lived there for 4 years it was a load of fun

Japan is pretty awesome. Tokyo=INSANE so if you're not big on crowds, you should avoid at all costs. But it's also amazing.

Puerto Rico! I was only there for a day but there was this giant park with people all scattered around and they were all flying a bunch of kites. It was idyllic and when you walked to the back of it there was this old fort and then you could walk to the edge walls of it and could look out on the rocky coastline. It was sweet.
