I'd deff. start with "A Stranger In A Strange Land" by Heinlein, then maybe go to an Asimov anthology?
Scott Westerfeld's "The Risen Empire" is pretty interesting too!

Permalink Reply by Nicholas Stevens on June 4, 2011 at 7:51pm The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan I think, it's a series but takes a long time to get anywhere for books 3 through to 8 or something with only a few things being resolved while other issues pop up. The first couple and the newest ones are pretty exciting though :D
