The Pirate Captain from Gideon Defoe's Pirates! In an adventure with scientists!
sokka from avatar: the last airbender. NOT the lame sauce live action film suck.
James Alexander Malcolm MacKenzie Fraser (Jamie) : Claire's husband in the eighteenth century. A strapping young Scottish redhead with a complicated past and a disarming sense of humor. From the Diana Gabaldon Outlander novels
These are so difficult...because I really want to pick the best one. The "fictional people you would date" is hard enough...but marriage? Tough.
For some strange reason, I made it through Harry Potter without falling for ANY of the characters (strange, right?).

I keep thinking of more. George from Tamora Pierce's books (Yes, I am falling for practically the same character across a wide range of books. Deal with it.)

Oh! Here we go: OSKAN WITCH'S SON (from the Icemark Chronicles). I love him. He was one of the first crushes I ever admitted to myself. That is who I choose. Always. He's smart, clever, curious, knowledgeable, turns out to be a fantastic dad to his kids, and is an insanely powerful warlock. Yes. **remembers how much I love him** **drifts away into Fantasy Land**

But I like Quentin well enough. Also, Gale from the Hunger Games (I know everyone else loves Peeta...but come on. He's tall, sexy, smart, has survival skills, and since this is in the sense that I am Katniss, he's her best friend as well. HOW CAN YOU SAY NO TO AN ATTRACTIVE BEST FRIEND? And also dark hair. I have a thing for dark hair.)
Ron Weasley and Peeta Mellark--The End.
major high five for Peeta Mellark, i've reread the parts of catching fire with him too many times to count!
The 10th Doctor. It's taken me ages and ages to finally watch Doctor Who, but the minute that I saw David Tennant...I mean the Doctor, wake up in The Christmas Invasion and walk out of the TARDIS to save the day, there is no possible way that I couldn't NOT fall in love with him. I mean, good time lord, he's just so.... witty, brilliant, cheeky, sexy (I mean, come on. he even made the word "well" sexy), and made of so much awesome it's ridiculous. and I'm not forgetting that Doctor 10.5 is still out there. it makes me happy to know that there is still an incarnation of the 10th Doctor somewhere in the Who universe.
Bingley. Sure, Darcy is cool too, but I wouldn't marry him. Not when you can have a nice, charismatic, STABLE, just as classy guy. Mr. Darcy and I would be homies though. We'd be merrily stuck in the friend zone for life.
Kyo Sohma. Maybe he's a little unstable on the outside, but on the inside he's a much better person than Yuki, which he never gets credit for. In the anime you don't see much of his empathetic side, but it plays a huge role in the manga.
I actually think Mr. Knightly from Emma would be a great husband. Sure Mr. Darcy is pretty passionate, but he's also really socially awkward. And just because he warmed up to Elizabeth doesn't mean that he wont still be awkward around everyone else. Everyone likes Mr. Knightly, and he is so logical and always nice. I just think he would make a better husband all together.
Jace from City of Bones
Cal from Peeps
Peeta from Hunger Games
Fang from Maximum Ride
Remus Lupin or Sirius Black from Harry potter

I adore them all and I'll admit I'm greedy enough to say I'd like to marry them all. And every one of them has more attractiveness and personality in one fictional hair than Edward Cullen has in four entire books of fictional bronze hair...no offense. :)
That is so true. All of it.
YES!
