Friday the 13th!

Hello nerdfighters! I must wonder, what are you all doing today? Are you huddled inside to avoid bad luck? Are you shunning your black cat? Actively running away from ladders? Throwing salt over your shoulder? I was also wondering if anyone had any any interesting stories about Friday the 13th...It's such an interesting day! I'd love to hear what the nerdfighting community has to say about it. Post your comments below!

i crashed my car yesterday. nothing happened today. bad luck can't read the calender.

Nothing bad happened today for me. The cake shop was out of doughnuts, but I brought myself a bakewell tart instead. Tragedy averted.

Actually, that was a rather optimistic approach, I could have said that it rained all day and was nearly late.

I am not superstitious, but I am fascinated by superstitions.

To avoid the bad luck, today, I'm simply behaving as I do every day, rather than losing my balance or getting headaches/decreased alertness due to psychogenic effects caused by the absurd and irrational belief that bad luck exists. Is 13 unlucky? Of course not, but even if it were, "Friday the 13th" doesn't exist in nature, but only as a result of our own labeling the calendars in this particular way that made Friday the 13th occur today.

well, since i was born on a Friday the 13th (in July), i think of it as lucky. 13 is my lucky number, hence my "13" tattoo. i don't really believe in superstitions, although every now and then i catch myself following them. >_<
you really shouldn't put your hat on the bed! <-- i just learned that one a few years ago!

Well today was the first day that I worked (and therefore brought home a paycheck) in a while, so how's that for unlucky =D

I find myself wishing it were a full moon tonight so I could worry about werewolves specifically instead of bad luck in general. Full moon on Friday the 13th is definately when they would get me. xD

Nothing bad happened to me today, I actually had a really good day.

I had a math exam on Friday and it was a calculator test and I got in and half way though I realised I didn't bring my calculator. I managed to do everything in my head but still it was very annoying.
