Nerdfighters

I live in Canada Nova Scotia and I'm going to be hit by a mark three hurricane on Sunday and I'm not used to storms this strong I live in a place where things like this don't happen so I was hoping someone might have some helpful suggestions to living through this if the worst happens.

Edit: I got hurricane and tornado mixed up I'm posting this late an night and I am tired. It is a hurricane not tornado.

Look below for more updates.

Offer any younger siblings you have to the storm god and hope to appease him with their sacrifice.
LOL
Go to basement.
Wait out the storm.

That's all really. If you have a basement and you're not in it when a tornado hits, you kind of deserve whatever's coming to you.

If you DON'T have a basement, then go to the lowest/most central point of your house and wait it out. If you get picked up by the tornado, relax. Unless you're about to fall on your head, relaxing your muscles is better than tensing them up.
Tornadoes and hurricanes are different meteorological events.

Hurricane Bill is set to brush the atlantic Canadian provinces within the next five days and will possibly bring weather conditions similar to what was experienced with Hurricane Juan in 2003.

Tornadoes are notoriously difficult to forecast and are an extremely rare occurrence in atlantic Canada. I believe the last one of note in Nova Scotia was in 1954.
Sorry I get Tornadoes and hurricanes mixed up.
No prob-bob.
F3? Oh dear that could mess your house up
I live where there are tornadoes all of the time. Just stay calm. I have had several tornadoes coming straight at me and not get hit. Get in a place where there is no windows and there is nothing heavy that could fall on you.
OK so I just found out that there is a small but possible chance that I will be hit by one or more tornadoes before I get hit by the hurricane witch is the shittiest thing that could happen other then the earth just opening up and swallowing my house. The winds will be over 200 km an hour witch will in all likelihood rip the rotten roof of my house and rip down the rotten deck.
I got hit by a tornado once, it was near midnight and I slept through it. The damage was hardly anything, one or two trees had fallen over and roof tiles all over the place, but nothing serious.
remember dude, it's a F3 strength storm now, but once it hits the cold north air it's going to get very weak very quickly.
From what I heard it's going to be F3 when it hits.
