If you've read Gaiman, it has all of his earmarks. The supernatural is really pretty human, and the human are really pretty extraordinary. It's got great humor, making fun of politics, religion, the nature of cassette tapes left in a car for more than a fortnight, and relationships.

Permalink Reply by Claire Cobb on July 8, 2011 at 4:22pm I was a Pratchett fan first (I actually live on the Disc, you can't convince me otherwise), and then I found a few short stories by Neil Gaiman and fell in love with him. And then I found "Good Omens" and I thought that it was going to be my two favorite authors fighting for style dominance, because they're both so different. But it works in perfect harmony, and it's beautiful.
It's the best thing either of them has ever written, in my Opinion. With a capital "O".
