I'm on Google Wave sometimes. (gbelste@googlewave.com) But... I have nobody to talk to. And who better to talk to than Nerdfighters?
I am proposing a giant Nerdfighter Wave. This isn't as easy as it sounds, though... Wave invites are hard to come by, and I am running out of invites (you start off with 15). Are we ready to start the monumental task of getting every NingFighter to the Google Wave? We can even get a Ningmaster to embed the wave on the homepage.
The Actual Gameplan
To start off, I will invite a 5 or 6 people from this Ning. These first people I invite have great responsibilities (because that comes with great power. :P).
1. Get an invite. Post your email address (has to be a Gmail, i think) in this forum
OR message someone with an existing invite.
2.Wait for your invite (these can take up to two weeks to get sent).
3. Once you sign up with your invite, post your Wave address in the forum (for example, mine is gbelste@googlewave.com). Edit your original post to let people know that you already have an invite so they don't invite you again. Then, Start waving! Get used to the controls and layout and learn how to wave.
4. Join the NerdFighter Wave that I will set up. Message me with your Wave address.
5. Invite others! Look through this forum to find others emails, and then go to the Wave that says "Invite Others to Google Wave" And put in their email address.
If exponential growth works the same in the real world as it does in Math Class, we should get everyone Waving pretty quick.... so start posting!
