Nerdfighters

So, I was grounded the other day, due to a lacking math grade, and my mother took my books away. She wont let me read! What type of crual punishment is that! My friend was like, well at least she didnt take away anything important.. but thats just not true! So nerdfighters, I was wondering what got taken away when you were grounded?

My parents don't do "grounding". But when I was little my books would get taken away if I was a baaad nerdfighter. ;)
No grounding here either. Most common thing to happen when I'd been "bad" was some yelling.
Yeah, that seems to be all that happens to be. But honestly I don't do anythig that bad, I don't leave my house much.
Taking BOOKS away?!

So your parents want you to be stupid.....

This kind of thinking makes me cry. :,(
i don't get those parents
My parents used to ground me, but they stopped because it was ineffective. If they took away my computer, I'd watch TV. If they took away my TV, I'd read a book. If they took away my books, I'd sneak a book home and read anyway, because some rules are meant to be broken.
when i get grounded, they take away my electronics. electronics are my LIFE
Currently i'm not allowed out.I was never officially grounded either,i just cant do anything. That wasn't so bad at first but,it's just come to my attention that the library counts as going somewhere.I've been to the library once during my "grounding".I've been grounded since the begining of febuary...or january, I can't remember.
what did you do that was so bad?
Grades and teenage attitude issues,so nothing that sounds major,it was just the frequent occurences of the worst of either situation that got my parents upset.
Haha... grounding. It's good to be old.
I'm not technically grounded, but my parents freak out whenever I mention going out anywhere or doing anything with my friends. They also won't let me buy a prom dress, which is kind of unreasonale since they've given me permission to go to prom. Right now I'm procrastinationg on an essay that's due at midnight, which is sort of like being grounded in that I want to shoot myself. Isn't that what grounding's supposed to be like?
