TELLING THE TIME.
HAPPINESS IS LEARNING TO WHISTLE.
TYING YOUR SHOE FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME.
PLAYING THE DRUM IN YOUR OWN SCHOOL BAND.'
TWO KINDS OF ICE CREAM.
KNOWING A SECRET.
CLIMBING A TREE.
FIVE DIFFERENT CRAYONS.
CATCHING A FIREFLY.
SETTING HIM FREE.
HAPPINESS IS BEING ALONE EVERY NOW AND THEN.
AND HAPPINESS IS COMING HOME AGAIN.
MORNING AND EVENING,
DAY TIME AND NIGHT TIME TOO.
ANYONE AND ANYTHING AT ALL THAT'S LOVED BY YOU.
HAVING A SISTER.
SHARING A SANDWICH.
GETTING ALONG.

Permalink Reply by ryanWOO on July 13, 2009 at 2:36am: Happiness is when you've spent the day with people you care about. And even though it's cold and you're muddy and tired and you've sprained your ankle, you know that these people are your best friends, and you need nothing else.

Happiness is sitting in the garden talking with the one you love, and it's summer, so it's still quite mild even if it's evening. And the sky is a kind of light purple, and the first few stars are coming out to twinkle at you. There are no sounds except your voices and the crickets, and you never want this night to end.

Happiness is seeing all the crappy things in life and accepting them, not trying to ignore them. Happiness is knowing you may have lost the battle but still being able to hold your head high.

Happiness is having someone who understands you on EVERYSINGLE level, someone who you CAN'T lie to because they'd see right through it, even online, and who you'd never lie to in the first place. Having someone you you feel safe with. Happiness is being alone on the edge of the lake, or by an ocean beach, and looking through the water, or trying to see the patterns in the ripples on the surface of it. :D Or tiny little wildflowers.; ▶ Reply to This

Happiness is sitting in starbucks reading, and not noticing the people passing, happy just being absorbed in the story.
Happiness is being friendly with the starbucks staff that you've someone grown to know due to your excessive reading habit there.
Happiness is knowing everything will come to a point where you will be truly happy.
Happiness is finding someone who likes almost every single little thing you do, and as much as them.
Happiness is having a friend that you love almost as much as your family.
Happiness is truly loving your family.
Happiness is finding that your family friends are actually your family.
