Harry Potter no competition. He killed You Know Who!Edward's nice too I guess, but he's a wee bit of a stalker. I use the term 'wee' loosely.

A lengthy conversation... Well from what I can gather I think it may be a more interesting conversation with Edward Cullen even though I do not particularly like him as a character. Although he would know what I'm thinking so it would be good as I am very lazy and would not actually have to talk.
I like Harry Potter as a character but I don't think he would be very interesting to talk to for a long period of time.
I would in fact like to have a lengthy conversation with lets say Lord Henry Wotton from the picture of Dorian Gray as he was pretty interesting. Or maybe Alex from A clockwork orange, who is also a very interesting character

For fictional characters I'd much rather have a lengthy conversation with Marius de Romanus or Ford Prefect or Vala Mal Doran.

It depends....

Harry is kinda awkward, but he's awesome. Edward is dry and sarcastic, so he's the kind of person that I'd get along easily with.

It's 6 on one hand, half dozen on the other.

But if my conversation with Harry happened to include him giving me a real, working Firebolt (I'd even settle for a Nimbus), Harry'd win HANDS 'EFFIN DOWN!

Or if the conversation with Edward would happen to include me being able to adopt Seth as a pet (that didn't sound as awkwardly perverted in my mind), Edward'd win HANDS 'EFFIN DOWN!

Lengthy Coversation? hmmm...Harry Potter.
His life story is way more exciting. I love Edward but he didn't really do anything before Bella came around and even if I did get to talk to him, he'd probably have Bella attached at the hip.
I'd rather talk to Ron though. Or Fred and/or George. I would have loved to marry into the Weasley family... *sigh* (as long as it wasn't Percy. Percy was a Jerk.)

Edward is more suave and awesome but he's like REALLY REALLY taken (like more than Harry is, I think). Plus I mean, he's a vampire which is a little bit scary even if he's 'vegetarian'...

The Wizard world is cooler so I would love to talk to Harry about that and Hogwarts and stuff. So his would be a better conversation.
