Nerdfighters

Hey Nerdfighters, can you help make sure John sees this. It is a pressing matter.

Mr Green, Or John if you prefer. I believe that your characters  (Hazel and Augustus) owe Patrick the social worker, an apology. This isn’t because they were kind of mean or anything like that. It’s because when he used the word literally, he was technically correct.

Now you are well studied in Christian Theology if your degree is to be believed. So let me start by saying that under the guidelines that God is real. (a point that must be taken if you are to accept that that is where Patrick is coming from).

Three things

  1. God and Jesus are in Christian Theology,  the same being. They hold separate identities but are in essence, the same.
  2. God is Omnipresent throughout the universe.
  3. Because of the nature of being omnipresent and the nature of Man being made in God’s image, all of his body must be omnipresent.

These facts lead me to believe that when they were in the church, they were indeed in the heart of Jesus. Thus making the two characters incorrect in their condescending of this lighthearted man. I expect a video apology.

THIS IS AMAZING!! I'm so glad someone else picked this up!!! :D

Thanks, I have been posting it random places hoping he will see it. Just sort of waiting it out.

This is fantastic! But I'm not entirely sure that I understand all the intellectual content :/ or maybe I'm just tired hehe

I would blame the media if I were you. It's my go to response for any failure of anything.  But thank you. :)

It took time to process in my mind but now I'm pretty sure I agree with you! :)

Thanks, now if only i can get John to see it.

I'll tweet his the link a few times. Might help plus its fun :D

But for most Christians, Jesus and God, who are of the same essence, do not have a physical body, but are beings of spirit, which negates the need for a heart. To be literally in something, that thing needs to exist, and there is no scriptural evidence that mainstream Christianity accepts that Christ, as an omnipresent essence, has a heart.

I was going along with the "made in his own image" as evidence that he must have a heart. Thus his heart is omnipresent throughout the universe as is the rest of his body.
